Because bloody blogger decided to be funny, I can now only blog/edit posts in school, and view the updated blog at home. It’s 25 minutes to the next class of 3 periods and Monday blues really have toned down, there are only 3 classes to go to today! what’s unfortunate is that I am experiencing the final stage of last week’s flu – cough and running nose full of greens and reds. :)

the weekend hadn’t been too bad, only that it came and went too soon. bro and I should have clocked about 5 hours of cycling. We went into Sengkang on Saturday and explored some HDB estates and their facilities on Sunday. we discovered a mini outdoor gym few streets down! well I am unable to take any pictures of the bicycle as the camera was sent off to be serviced, maybe the next weekend! haven’t seen bf in a week and more now, we have both been busy…

happy 41st sweetness :)

March 22, 2007

the march holidays had been a total blast - starting right from the Friday before the holidays officially started. had only 1 class to attend to. there was some 'award giving/performance/the p. lecture' assembly during the 2nd half of school day then. this makes me realise, I have not seen my favourite (yes I actually have favourite classes/students, no matter how idiotic some of them may get) t. class for 4 weeks now.

anyway, THE MARCH HOLIDAYS!!!!!! officially kicked off on Saturday with me waiting an hour at coffee bean for sha (what is new?) and kim to catch Letters to Eewo Jima. it supposedly kicked ass, according to sha. and I just have to declare my new love - coffee bean's TEA LATTTTTEEEEEEEEE YUM SLURP YUM. so that hour spent was not that bad really, considering I had tea latte and bagel. so after the moovie we met Jay for dinner at this indo restaurant at Lucky Plaza? the food was GOOD though Jay did not think much of it, will definitely be back there to try other stuff when the occasion arrives. then it was to l'escalier and MAC and the toy department at taka and sillyness bought me a v.4 tamagotchi :) something that I had been really keen to get for a while. he is at his 4th stage now and had morphed into a really hairy wrinkled monster by the way.

another movie that I caught with Jay was 300. natasha was right on when she claimed the movie was AWESOME. I'm sure throngs of people have been to see the movie but I am totally amazed at how they managed to instill such aesthetic forms into a movie based on war. well besides all the movies I caught in cinemas and on DVDs, I also finished s2 of Grey's Anatomy. here I shall rave about how much I LOVE GREY'S ANATOMY. IT IS A TERRIFIC TERRIFIC TERRIFIC TERRIFIC DRAMA. everything in the series click into place, the right places even, all the freaking time. am now patiently, quietly waiting for season 3 to end before getting it off ahem yahoo auctions.

the holidays saw through a hint of exercise too. accompanied with HORDES OF EATING OUTINGS, most of the time with my mom and bro. it is comforting to know that this great beautiful windy clean park, pasir ris park, is just a few TPE exits away :) :) and news has it that they will soon be working on a park connector between Sengkang and Pasir Ris. HURRY UP PLEASE. and also, after many years in sports, I am finally getting a sporting equipment commonly considered normal - a freaking bicycle! well actually it's no normal bicycle (why?why?why?where has normality gone to?), it's this one and only one in the world, built by a friend of Jay's who is kind of deserting bikes for his car. the day I went to view the bike was the day I fell really ill, last Sunday. too much play with no rest gives me 2 school days off after all the excitement :) well anyway, I had been down with flu and fever blahblahblahh and the bike; it's a cruiser. the bike, riding it was EFFORTLESS. even to walk that day had me aching in all the wrong places. but riding the bike? ZERO effort. now that makes me wonder if there will be calorie loss if I were to take it for long distance rides.....

there will be pictures when I get the bike tomorrow :) perhaps of Jay's chopper too because both bikes are Equally Nice.

but really, it was the 2 day intensive rest (and medication) that completed the time I needed for the spirit and body to pick up on things again, by tuesday night I was ready and rearing to go, although still giddy, lightheaded from the medicated post-sickess pre-menstrual (?) syndromes. I might have been slightly psycho too because I was actually feeling excited to start school again. well the lightness in being is hanging around still. it was elevated yesterday when I received the spanking new time table, my load has been lightened! no more 4-classes days.

seriously, I should learn how to blog in seperate entries. all this content is meant for a freaking book and I'm not even done yet.

to end off,
this term started off in a good mood, the term is short, we're all happy june holidays are coming soon, there shouldn't be much to get over with this term. but the problem is, I already have issues shifting my current work space, from a secluded desk to a common area, where all my 'resources' are, I wonder if it is going to be as difficult, leaving the school at the end of May to take on my next big step.
